Impressive in its simplicity, with curved cornerstones and crafted hewn stones from Hydra or the adjacent small island in the Hydra Gulf, Dokos, plain stones, marble stones or unpolished marble, all carefully balanced, fixed without mud, with edges painted white. The manor house is ideally located at the very center of Hydra, just 150 meters away from the port. Access to the guesthouse is easy and unobstructed (no exterior steps). Spacious and imposing, one cannot help but noticing the place?s robust wooden beams known as ?boudelia? a term used by the local seamen for the wooden poles that support boats when parked aground. Apartment 70sqm hosts up to 4 people

This traditional, build of stone apartment, used to be the storage space of one of the well known ?ship owners? and merchants of Hydra island. In this very place, all his marine supplies, boat equipment and valuable merchandise were stored.

His descendants have renovated and turned the apartment into a unique welcoming place for families or groups of friends (1 to 4 people).

Spacious, lightful , with three windows offering an exquisite view to a traditional paved with stones footpath leading  to the island?s main port. A peaceful place to stay that diffuses the refreshing aura of Hydra.

Includes two separate sleeping areas, kitchen and bathroom. In the main bedroom, a double bed traditionally made by iron; in the living room, two single beds made by the same old stones of this very house. All mattresses, made of coconut plant, combined with anatomical pillows, add a luxurious, yet natural touch.

Traditional build-in couches offer a restful seat.
