Kythera is located between the southern tip of the Peloponnese and Crete where the waves of three seas wash upon the island’s coastline – the Ionian Sea, the Cretan Sea and Myrtian Sea. But a few nautical miles to the south west of Kythera is the small island of AntiKythera. Both islands historically and geographically belong to the Ionian Islands but are politically governed by one Municipal Council which falls within the jurisdiction of the Prefecture of Attiki.
Our Hidden Retreats are located at Agios Prokopios which is on the northern point of Kytherabetween the picturesque village of Karavas and overlooking the seaside village of Plateia Ammos below with expansive views across the straits to the Peloponnese,
