Location: Laguna Resort & Spa in Anissaras is the newest hotel in the Mitsis chain, offering all the services and facilities needed to spend a memorable vacation in the island of Crete. Mitsis Laguna Hotel is located on the beach, 22 km from the airport, 24 km from Heraklion and the port and 3 km from Hersonissos.

General Description and Amenities: Mitsis Selection Laguna features 351 deluxe rooms, 6 restaurants and 6 bars, including the new Champagne, Wine & Sushi Bar, a state-of-the-art spa, and concierge and shuttle services. The golden color of the reception, the handmade furniture and the elegant decoration of the lobby, together with the warmest first place where your unforgettable vacation begins. The hotel has the following facilities: conference room for 400 people, concierge, luggage room, currency exchange, parking within the limit of available places, wake-up call, room service, laundry and dry cleaning, rent a car/moto/bike, medical assistance, babysitting, business center, internet, shops and minimarket. In the hotel we find a main restaurant, an Italian, Asian restaurant, a Cretan tavern, a Mexican restaurant, a sushi restaurant, day bar, night bar, Champagne Bar and 2 bars by the pool.

Dress code applies in all restaurants and bars.

Sports and leisure: Free: tennis court, mini-football court, canoes, hydro-bicycles, beach volleyball, polo, table tennis, darts, gymnastics, aerobics, slides, bridge room, windsurfing (based on certificate). Water sports and the games room, along with the Spa & Wellness center, are available for a fee. Animation includes events (thematic evenings, music) and theater.

Swimming pool: The hotel has 2 swimming pools.
Beach: The beach is sandy, and umbrellas and sunbeds are free, and a deposit is required for towels (which will be returned). Also, the beach is supervised by a lifeguard.

Facilities for children: Babysitting (on request, for a fee), high chairs in the restaurant and baby cots, Mitsis Wonderland (children's pool, slides), animation programs, place and playroom.

Room description: The hotel is composed of 180 bungalows, of which 34 are surrounded by the lake, 80 standard or superior rooms in the main building, 80 Family Bungalows and 2 Presidential suites with private pool.

All rooms have air conditioning, bathroom with shower and bathtub, direct telephone in the bathroom and in the room, minibar, satellite TV with music or international channels, safe, balcony or terrace, internet, room service, marble or wooden floor, products/ welcome facilities. In the bathroom we find a hair dryer, bathroom products, telephone, robe and slippers, cosmetic mirror. The family rooms have all the standard facilities plus 2 bedrooms.

The suites also have a bedroom with 2 bathrooms, private pool, DVD player, dining room and living room.

Dining Services: Mitsis Laguna Resort & Spa has 7 restaurants including a main buffet restaurant and à la carte specialty restaurants such as Cretan Tavern, Tex-Mex, Pan-Asian, Italian and Fish. The hotel offers 5 bars, including a champagne bar, a wine bar and a sushi bar. Two of them are located near the pools and 3 in the main building.
