Location: Our hotel is located in the village of Voukolies, in the center of the regional establishment of Chania and simultaneously in the very heart of nature. A village full of lush greenery in close proximity with paths of unparalleled beauty, plantations making fantastic day trips and award-winning beaches with magnificent azure water. Fields with numerous orange and lemon trees, as well as an abundance of olive trees and deep blue skies are also parts of a landscape that changes colors with the seasons. Evge's location makes it an ideal destination for the ultimate relaxation experience, in any season of the year.

Showing the utmost respect for Mother Nature's countless offerings, Evge amenities offer luxury to every guest without compromising the raw charm of the natural environment. Thus, we made sure not only to make our guests feel completely at home through facilities such as swimming pool, hot tub and outdoor fireplace, but also to restore their inner peace while beholding the elusive beauty of Chania's flora, with its countless endemic species, infinite horizon and deep blue waters of the Aegean Sea.

Preserving the warmth and comfort for which Cretan architecture is known, along with modern additions and facilities, were very important to our hotel. The redesign of its common spaces especially evolves the concept of a traditional Cretan courtyard, into a modern resort of relaxation and rejuvenation, which largely resembles a commune.

The comfortable interior space of our dining room has been created to give all guests the opportunity to interact with each other and share local moments, experiences and flavors.

Between hotel rooms and indoor common areas, we have created an outdoor living room, ideal for meetings, especially during the summer season. Apart from local delicacies and traditional Cretan raki, breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served there upon request.

–Swimming pool

A frequently used wedge-shaped pool is located right in front of the central building, paying homage to the traditional water ditches used in the Cretan countryside until several decades ago.


– Outdoor space 

Evge's gardens entirely include endemic species. Both our earthen plants and green roofs are filled with small shrubs such as thyme, saltpeter, lavender and cat's thyme, as much as flowers like areca palms, hydrangea and daisies. The surrounding areas are full of fruit trees such as lemons, oranges and pomegranates, while our pergolas are decorated with jasmine climbers.

Accommodation - room types:

Evge has 6 unique apartments, which are given their own story and identity, embellished with their own fragment of the color palette and designed in a way that best meets the needs of our guests. Taking inspiration from ancient Greek mythology, our Lava, Dasos, Gaia, Etheras, Nefeli and Thalassa rooms combine modern comfort with island tradition and invite you to immerse yourself in the depths of Cretan history. 

*LAVA: Lava is a small but comfortable double room measuring approximately 25 square meters and overlooking our pool and garden. Its name derives from the traditional wood-fired furnace that once embellished the room with its presence. Lava's tiles, linens and decorations resemble the vivid hues of flames.



*DASOS: Dasos is a triple room that includes a double bed and a comfortable sofa. It includes its own outdoor area, equipped with a table and chairs, while the only window overlooks our garden. It was named after the dense vegetation behind it, and its colors are an ode to the nature that surrounds it.

*GAIA: Gaia is located on the ground floor of the central building of the apartment complex, hence its name. It is an ideal choice for families with three members looking for a carefree getaway. As the name suggests, Gaia's colors vary between several shades of gray.

*EHERAS: Etheras is located on the first floor of the central building of the apartment complex, decorated in shades of white and exposed to the winds that gave it its name. Climbing his stairs, he might feel like he's climbing a mountain. The hot tub of our apartment complex is located on the terrace of the Ethera, which offers wonderful views of the surrounding plains and the sea.



*NEFELI: For all the features of a junior suite, Nefeli was named after a transparent roof frame over its small kitchen overlooking the occasional cloudy skyline. He is dressed in the light blue colors of the Cretan sky.

*THALASSA: Thalassa has both a private balcony and a commonly used balcony with outstanding views of the endless blue of the Cretan Sea, hence its name. The same blue can be found everywhere in its décor. As one would expect from Evge's most premium room, Thalassa offers its guests all kinds of luxuries.
