Emerald waters and green hills as the eye can see at the foot Pantokratrului with this boast Nissaki on the north-east of the island. Nissaki is another place on the island of Corfu where you can feel like in paradise. Small and quiet, the village is, every year, the host family for foreigners who come to enjoy the natural beauty of the island.

Nissaki is less than 20 kilometers from Corfu Town. To reach the island you have to embark on one of the ferries that depart daily from Igoumensita sites (from 05.00 to 23.00), transfer costing less than 30 euros for a car.
From Nissaki you reach the abandoned villages hidden in the hills of Mount Pantokrator. Old Sinies is a village built as a refuge during attacks by pirates and left early 20th century Perithia is another such village, close to Kassiopi. In both you will be walking on cobblestone streets, narrow, and you can admire the houses and abandoned churches.
Pantokrator Monastery is another place worth visiting, located on top of Mount Pantokrator where you will be met by a single monk who lives there and his dog.
