Corinth is a Greek city on the Isthmus, the original isthmus, the narrow strait linking the Peloponnese to mainland Greece. Corinth is about 78 km west of Athens. Isthmus is now crossed by a canal. Corinth is the capital of Corinth prefecture. The city
is surrounded by mountains Lechaio, Kalamaki, Loutraki and Geraneia.
