The village offers a wide range of attractions and activities, more than can be carried in one short holiday! It is in the north of the island, surrounded by green mountains dense pine forests and olive groves large beds, making it a very picturesque whole frame.
It is just a short distance from mainland Greece, where the city of Kavala can be seen clearly, both during the day and at night when it is wonderful to watch the city lights and surrounding villages. From Limenas can enjoy spectacular sunsets as the sun dips behind the mountains in while enjoying a cool drink in the warm evening.
Thassos Town | Limenas simply means "port". The capital of the island and is commonly called "Thassos Town". It is home to the main port from which you can easily travel to and from the Greek mainland by ferry from harbor Keramoti
