Neos Marmara is one of the most cosmopolitan villages of Halkidiki. It is a picturesque village which was built as an amphitheater, on top of a hill, surrounded by sea. The village was founded in 1922 by some refugees from Asia Minor, who were joined by some local residents Parthenionas 1970.

Today, the village attracts thousands of visitors each summer by the various types of facilities can be found in hotels, restaurants, fish taverns, bars, cafes, water sports. The area has one of the most beautiful beaches of Halkidiki. Full of golden beaches, eucalyptus and a picturesque harbor, full of tavernas where you can enjoy seafood, Neos Marmaras is the most cosmopolitan village of Sithonia.

Just outside the village stands the luxurious Porto Carras resort, offering three hotels, a port, an outdoor theater, a golf course and a casino.

Citrus, almonds and pistachios are grown by farmers, here and finding the vine vineyards that produce wines Carras, well-known. Combining sea, mountains and other entertainment options, Neos Marmaras is a great place to go for those who wish to enjoy a dynamic and spectacular vacation.

      Hotelul este in afara statiunii, vis a vis de plaja lagomandra, este obligatoriu sa ai masina. Zona in schimb este foarte frumoasa si curata, in afara hotelului mai sunt cateva pensiuni. Plaja este una destul de mare, cu pietris fin (inteapa putin) este ingrijita si nu foarte aglomerata.

De mentionat este cea mai frumoasa plaja din regiune ca fiind Plaja Lagomandra care este inconjurata de o padure de pini care ii ofera umbra si racoare.
