The village of Poros and its beach Mikros Gialos are in the southeastern part of the island, in a small gulf located approximately 3 km away from the main road of Lefkada.
Poros is the village and its beach called Mikros Gialos is 1.5 km away from it. In the past Mikros Gialos used to be port of the village but now there are hotels, villas and some taverns around the shore.
Mikros Gialos is a quiet place, suitable for peaceful holidays. There are no stores, nor entertainment options. The beach is pebbled, with very clear and calm waters. Due to the surrounding high cliffs of the gulf, waves are rare and the sea is as calm as a lake.
