Limenaria (gr. "Little town") is a town located on the southwest coast of Thassos Thassos Limenaria, 42 kilometers from Limenas (capital city). It is the second largest city in the island and is oriented picturesquely facing Mount Athos. Along with the neighboring village Kalyvia (gr. "Hut"), which is just one kilometer away, Thassos Limenaria form a beautiful community with a promenade dotted with tavernas, cafes and souvenir shops.
Limenaria has a small port and a lot of very beautiful beaches.
Metal beach villas situated at the foot of the city and has a descent Limenaria smooth quiet waters of the Aegean Sea, making it ideal for families with children. There's also a small bay which can be reached through a short tunnel through the rocks, and if you climb the stairs that lead to the top of the rocks around the beach, you can enjoy a great view. From here you can see the famous ruins of Thassos mining industries with high furnace forming a unique décor. It can zari and some baskets melting abandoned factory, stretching to the horizon like a long remembrance. Because shoreline smooth and crystal clear water, beach metal is a good destination for snorkeling enthusiasts.
Only 4 km west of Limenaria beach is triple that stretches about 2 km. It's a beach of sand and gravel with a small bay surrounded by hills with pine trees. Here the sea is turquoise blue and is the favorite of many tourists in the summer months.
At about 2.5 km from Limenaria can find small beach resort Pefkari. This beach has clean sand and fine stones, and you can cool off in one of the bars or taverns around. Water games offer is varied, from banana boat, jetski, parasailing and more.
A little further east, 4 km from Limenaria, long beach of Potos is a fishing village that has gradually developed into a tourist resort. That's also fine beach here is the "Alexandra Beach" that you Limenaria Thassos Hotel Alexandra Beach in Potos, but it is accessible to all visitors.
