Lachania is situated 70 km from Rhodes Town and between Lindos and Prassonisi. This is a large beach with sandy shore and clean water. The surrounding region is quite developed with tourist facilities and nice accommodation. In short walking distance from the beach, there are hotels, rooms to let and delicious fish taverns. A short drive from Lachania, there is the isolated beach of Plimiri and the popular windsurfing resort of Prassonisi.
