In Kassiopi you do not get bored. From the port of the village, but also great beaches, you can rent boats or you can try paragliding or water ski. The brave can venture to make diving and see the underwater caves. In Kassiopi you can go and trips to Paxos, Kefalonia, Dassia, Nissaki, Sidari and Ipsos. Avlaki beach, blue water, a few villas and two tavernas is 20 minutes walk, as many isolated coves and rocky area.
Kassiopi resort is a great place for shopping. In the village there are plenty of souvenir shops and also boutiques where you can buy things or crocheted lace, prroduse of ceramic, jewelry and leather clothes at good prices.
Besides Sidari and Kavos, Kassiopi is one of the busiest resorts at night. Tenders are varied. There are bars where you can relax with friends and you can try different cocktails, discos where you can dance until dawn, and pubs with karaoke and quizzes, and restaurants with Greek evenings, dancers and broken plates.
The main tourist beach of Kassiopi is Kalamionas Beach, awarded blue flag. The beach is mostly gravel, like others in the area. There is plenty of lounge chairs that can be rented, and toilets, showers and changing areas.
Kassiopi harbor near a small road up the hill a bit, and then down to three beaches: Batar, Kanoni and Pumpkin.
Batar is a small beach covered with white pebbles, which is distinguished by its wild beauty and because it offers a clear view to the coast of Albania, located just a few nautical miles away. The beach is just behind the harbor of Kassiopi, so near you find some teverne and bars.
To reach the beach you have to go on the rocks Pipit, making access a little more difficult. Pumpkin is framed by cliffs that reach up into the crystal clear water and is a good place for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. Much of the beach is covered with pebbles and no shade trees to keep at peak hours, but you can rent umbrellas and sunbeds.
If you follow the path from the beach to the end Batar peninsula Kanoni you reach the beach, covered with white stones. And you will find beach chairs with umbrellas Kanoni, but not many. Being secluded, this beach is very quiet and suitable for relaxation in a picturesque landscape. It is not advisable to go there with kids, rocks are slippery and dangerous.
For Kassiopi village is located on a spit of land in the Ionian Sea, the coast is indented and around the four main beaches in the resort, here there are plenty of other smaller and remote beaches that only locals know.
