About Karousades - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
Karousades is one of the largest villages of northern Corfu. Remaining unchanged during the centuries, it's lush vegetation makes it look even more beautiful. It became intensely popular in the 1960's – 1980's, today it is devoid of the popularity it once had. 35km away from the centre of Corfu, it includes over 15km of quiet beaches such as Agios Ioannis, Yialos, Agios Andreas, Agnos and especially Astrakeri. Astrakeri beach has a wide sandy beach with shallow water ideal for families, while the picturesque port with it's many fishing boats is perfect for a quiet stroll.
