About Kalavryta - presentation, information, photos and recommendations
If you spend a few days in the Peloponnese, do not miss a trip to the small town of Kalavrita, located at 30 km distance. This city is unfortunately known to tourists, but for the Greeks is an important place of pilgrimage.
During the Second World War, 81 German soldiers were taken prisoner and killed by the Greek resistance.
