Este o statiune frumoasa, cu mult tineret, locuri frumoase de vizitat, peisaje frumoase, plaja cu pietris, apa foarte curata, singurul incovenient este traversarea cu ferry-boat-ul care este cam scump.

Ipsos este o statiune mica, la 15 km de Corfu town. O parcurgi in 30 de minute. In septembrie e foarte linistita, nu o recomandam pt cei ce vor distractie. In schimb, oamenii de acolo sunt foarte prietenosi, recomand cu mare drag fast food.ul NIKOS, un loc care la prima vedere nu inspira mare incredere, totusi, dupa ce am mancat un gyros, ne-am tot intors... proprietarii foarte prietenosi, gyros.ul f bun si ieftin si de fiecare data din ce in ce mai mare. Intr-o zi ploioasa, proprietarul s-a oferit sa ne duca gratis cu masina personala pana la hotel. Ultima seara cand am mancat acolo, nici in ruptul capului nu ne-au lasat sa platim.

Plaja curata, cu sezlonguri si umbrele (7 euro doua sezolnguri si o umbrela) cu pietre mici, dar cu nisip la mal si in apa, apa mica, se adanceste mai departe de tarm (potrivita copiilor sau celor care nu stiu sa innoate), taverne, supermarketuri, terase, baruri, magazine, bancomate, farmacie, rent a car, sporturi acvatice, absolut tot ce iti doresti!!! Blue-bus no. 7 circula des in zilele lucratoare, programul se poate procura de la receptia hotelului si este afisat in fiecare statie, face legatura cu Corfu town (Kerkyra). Pana in Kerkyra se merge cu autobuzul aproximativ 35-45 minute. Green-bus circula mai rar si face legatura cu partea nordica a insulei: Kasiopi, Sidari. Statiunea Ipsos poate satisface diverse categorii de turisti. Pana in statiunea vecina Dassia se poate merge cu masina (5-10 minute) sau cu bus 7, cateva statii, unde gasiti si mai multe taverne si magazine.

Ipsos este o statiune situata la nord de Corfu town (Kerkyra) si se intinde de-a lungul soselei care duce spre Pirgi (si mai departe spre Kassiopi). Plaja nu este deloc grozava si este situata chiar langa sosea. Nu am facut baie aici in nici o zi, dar am ales Ipsos pentru ca are legaturi bune cu restul insulei si cum noi aveam de gand sa hoinarim peste tot, era un candidat bun pentru cartierul general :) asta si pentru ca seara statiunea este suficient de animata. Preturile la taverne – destul de piperate, un fel principal 8-10 euro iar o bere 2.5-3.5 euro. Mai exista si varianta gyros-ului la 2.5-3 euro pentru a scapa de foamea din miezul zilei. Noi am incercat mai multe restaurante, dar recomandam taverna Moby Dick (o afacere de familie unde am mancat cele mai bune paste – in capatul dinspre Pirgi) si fast food-ul Papagalos (pe la jumatatea statiunii, unde au o oferta cu bere inclusa, iar portiile de mancare sunt imense). Dupa ce am mai hoinarit, am tras concluzia ca in Ipsos preturile sunt medii – cele mai mici le-am gasit in Sidari, iar cele mai mari – in Paleokastritsa.
