Golden Beach is undoubtedly the most popular beach on the island of Thassos, a strip of sand that attracts all tourists in the region. The beach is situated in Golden Beach, a distance of approximately 10 km south of Limenas, the capital city, and is bordered to the east of Skala complex, whose residents know as the HRIS Akti (Golden Coast), and West of Skala Panagia, where he earned the reputation of HRIS Amudya (golden Beach).
Golden Beach is the owner of Blue Flag, which is largely due to its fine sand, a dazzling gold and crystal waters of the Aegean Sea. The beach is ideal for families with children because the waters are not deep bathing shore and the sea is always calm. The beach is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas rental locations, as well as centers for water sports.

                Statiunea ni s-a parut ca celelalte pe care le cunoastem deja, gen Corfu, Lefkada, Halkidiki, nu foarte curata, nici foarte speciala. In schimb plaja si marea sunt minunate si "fac toti banii". Sezlongurile si umbrelutele sunt gratuite cu conditia sa faci consumatie (vin in permanenta printre sezlonguri si iti iau comanda).
