This attractive town has little red-tiled colored houses which have been built amphitheatrically, and encircles a bay with a lovely fishing harbor at its south end and a nice sandy beach at the other side. The town is cosmopolitan but maintaining the local colors, and a main destination for the visitors.
It therefore has all the expected and necessary comforts for nice holidays: taverns, ouzo shops, night-time entertainment, tourist agencies, hotels, room for rent, post office, bank, car and motorbike hiring agencies and many shops.
Batsi | Batsi is also part of the municipality of Hydroussa. It is located 7 kilometers away from Gavrio, separated from it by beautiful sandy beaches, small picturesque harbors and hidden coves.
