Agios Ioannis is just 5km from Mouresi, located in a particularly idyllic place, and it is one of the most famous tourist destinations of Pelion during the summer and not only. Its beautiful and large, blue flag beach, with small pebbles, is the main reason for the significant touristic development of the village.
There are many and remarkable choices of accommodation and catering, and therefore the visitor has the opportunity to combine the modern luxuries with the beauty of nature that surrounds him/her. The infrastructure developed in the last 20 years in the village and in the wider area have turned Agios Ioannis to a well-organized tourist resort. Additionally, one of the advantages of the village is the fact that it is located close to the most famous mountainous villages of East Pelion.

Statiunea este foarte pitoreasca, destul de linistita, cu ape limpezi si plaje cu pietris. tavernele au preturi mai mari decat prin alte locuri si nu neaparat justificate. Dar am gasit si taverne cu mancare foarte buna: akti si Ivas.
