Agios Stefanos is located on the north-west of Corfu, 45 km from the capital. It is a suburb Attica, Greece, about 23 km north of Athens.
Almost entirely residential, with several stores lining the main street. It is located in the northern Athenian plain between Mount Parnitha and eastern mountain chain.
A small fishing village, Agios Stefanos is filled with authentic Greek background surrounded by rugged hills waiting to be explored. It was one of the first fishing villages of Corfu.
Ideal location for families because the waters shallow.
Set in a background of hills and greenery is a quiet resort, but friendly, with a retention of the horseshoe-shaped bay surrounded by a long sandy beach in some parts organized with deckchairs, umbrellas and showers. .
Until the 1960/1970, the farms covered the entire area around the town of Agios Stefanos, which can still be seen vestiges of them. Forest cover in part the community. Much of the population is urban, while up in the years 1960/1970 were from rural areas. Modern buildings have appeared in Agios Stefanos by 1970, continuing until 1990. Urban development continues today.
