Well, Pino di Loto means the pine tree of Lotos and the story is the following …: everything started around 150 years ago when the pine tree was “born” in a small hill of Lotos at Kini village in Syros. When this land was bought by the great-grandfather of Rigouzzo family (he was the consul of France and Belgium for Cyclades, at the time) the Pine Tree was already the at was supposed to be a “trademark” for the small village and for Rigouzzo Family…
So around June 2007, Pino di Loto accepted its first guests…!!!

The Archictect George Evripiotis, followed the traditional architectural style of the island and gave personality and elegance to the whole place. In the meantime the owner, Mary Rigouzzo, with great love and enthusiasm decorated the inside and outside spaces.

Late check out charges (upon availability)

• Up to 18:00 check out time: plus 50% of the day charge.


• After 18:00 check out time: plus 100% of the day charge.

Important notice: A reservation is considered cancelled only when Pino Di Loto  receives the cancellation through Webhotelier or with an official eMail sent at reservation@pinodiloto.gr. Changes to any bookings must be made in writing. No amendments are guaranteed until written confirmation is provided by our place . 

We kindly request our guests to be aware that any damages caused to hotel property during their stay will be their responsibility. In such cases, we greatly appreciate their cooperation in promptly arranging payment for the repair or replacement of damaged items, as per the terms and conditions of our Boutique Bed & Breakfast.

Pino di Loto is built on the small hill of Lotos, at Kini Village.

It is 300m away from the 2 beaches of the village.

It will take you 5min to walk down to the beaches and only 10min to come back.

Kini beach (this is the view your are enjoying from the suites) is sandy and organized. Walking along the beach you will find small traditional tavernas and restaurants!

The picturesque Lotos beach is smaller, quieter and it might not be organized but while reaching it you will enjoy a peaceful swim!

How to get to Syros island

By Air. Syros island is served by Syros Island National Airport (JSY) which is located 2 km away from the city. There are daily flights from Athens to Syros operated by Olympic Air from Athens International Airport.

Alternatively, you can fly to Mykonos Island National Airport (JMK) and then take the ship to Syros. Mykonos airport is served by many low cost and chartet companies during the summer season. The airport is located 4 km away from the town of Mykonos. Journey time from Mykonos to Syros ranges from 40 min to 1 hour 15 minutes depending on type of vessel. The are about 18 - 25 crossings weekly.

By Sea. Syros is connected daily with Piraeus port, the main port of Athens, throughout the year. Journey time is ranges from 2.5 to 4 hours, depending on the vessel.

Syros is also home port for smaller vessels that offer regional routes to the Cyclades islands. Currently ANEK and NEL operate such routes, throughout the year. Practically, no other Greek island offer such connectivity to the Greek islands both in Cyclades and Dodecanese as well as Crete.

Children policy:

Due to the special design, architecture and decoration of Pino di Loto, with the high walls and the rocks around the pool, it is designed only for adults. For safety reasons and for the comfort and well-being of all, we are focused to maintain a calm and quiet atmosphere! This is why we need to inform our guests that we are not able to host babies (0-2 years old) or guests younger than 18 years old.
