MONOLiTHIA is located very close to the center of Santorini Island but away from the crowded tourist areas. The complex faces the south-eastern side of the island and it’s close to the residential area of Monolithos. Looking east you will enjoy a panoramic view of the sea and the Anafi’s Island.

The architecture is Cycladic, combining natural stone and white walls, but the feeling is modern. The studios and apartments have cool, minimalistic interiors, with both modern and traditional touches. The main idea of the initial design was to pay due to the bioclimatic architecture of the island, therefore construction materials that are environmentally friendly were used. The use of energy saving air-cooling systems and passive solar heating ensures a minimal environmental impact and keeps the noise levels to minimum. Rain water that falls during the winter period is collected, cleaned and used for the swimming pool as well as the automatic watering of the plants and surrounding gardens.
