Anamar PIlio Hotel is perfectly located in Hania to bring you the best from this unique and stunning Pelion village. Hania itself used to be the gateway between east and west Pelion in the old days, and many travellers would stay here for the night at one of the local hostels. This in fact is how the village derived its name, from the word hania, meaning hostels.The Anamar Pilio Hotel is much more though than a hostel. It is a wonderfully designed hotel complex, that has maintained the tranditions of the village and Pelion, yet is a very modern hotel,with a great number of extra facilities that will meet even the most demanding modern traveller.Situated at an altitude of 2100 meters, and surrounded by a beautiful forest of beech and pine trees, Hania is an extremely picturesque village, and one that provides breathtaking views out over the entire peninsula.It is especially popular during the winter months though, when the famous Pelion ski centre of Agriolefkes, which is just 1km away, is in operation. In the winter, Hania is covered by a blanket of crisp white snow, and the scenery and landscape must be seen to be appreciated.All over the coast of the Pelion peninsula you can find a fantastic selection of beautiful beaches where you can enjoy swimming, watersports and relaxation during the hot summer months. From the mountainous village of Hania, you can easily reach some of the most beautiful beaches in Pelion in under 15 minutes or so.
