About Poros

Along the coastline south of Poros heading towards Skala you will find numerous pretty little coves and beaches for those who want to get away from the crowds. The monastery of Atros is situated 5 kms above the town of Poros. It dates back to 1264 which makes it the oldest monastery on Kefalonia.
