Tourist spots:
- Drakospita are "cyclopean" constructions and are located in southern Evia and especially in the town of Stira. They are built in steep areas and are massive and imposing constructions, which intrigue the curiosity of the visitors. Nobody knows when they were
built and for what reason. The most well-known and well-preserved Drakospito is that of the Eye and was characterized by scientists as an ancient temple where the god Zeus and the goddess Hera were deified. (1 km. Of asphalt road, 3 km dirt road, 10 minutes
uphill route)
- "Styra Acropolis", above which the Armenian Castle was built. Of particular interest is the megalithic gate, and on the hill overlooks the Chapel of Agios Nikolaos.

- The Kapsali Folklore Museum with exhibits of unique local cultural heritage.
-Nimporeio, a beautiful and clean beach in the Gulf of Evian (8 km)
- The Dimosari Canyon, with a length of 10 km, one of the most beautiful Greek canyons for hiking, protected by the "Nature" program on Mount Eyes.
- Marmari, coastal fishing village with beautiful beaches (20 km).
- Karystos, picturesque city in the south of Evia, where you can visit Castello Rosso. (30 km)
- Mesochori or Limionas beach, the beautiful Aegean beach, with picturesque taverns. (15 km)
- "HarakasGorge" from NE Styra. A 2-hour route that ends on a beach in the Aegean.
- Almiropotamos, beach resort in the north (20 km)
Almyropotamos beach
The traditional village Almyropotamos is a picturesque place with a natural harbor on the South Evian Gulf.
At its port there are fishing boats and fast boats. The ferries connect Panagia from Almyropotamos with Agia Marina from Attica.
Numerous cafes, taverns are located on the beach and it is a summer vacation destination.
Almyropotamos is 53 km from Karystos and 79 km from Halkida.
