Agios Fokas is a picturesque beach located 8 km south of Kos town and 2 km from the famous thermal baths in Thermes. The biggest part of the beach is covered with black sand and pebbles, whereas the other part consists mainly of sand. The locals have managed
to organize the beach quite well with umbrellas, sundecks and other facilities. Usually it is less congested than other beaches of Kos. The left hand part of the beach is used by nudists. Agios Fokas has an excellent view to the Aegean, especially during the
afternoon and the night hours. There are many taverns serving nice delicacies and Greek cuisine. It is reachable by car or taxi and there are buses running frequently from Kos Town.
