Diafani is the second most important port of Karpathos. It is located on the northern side of the island, 67 km north of Pigadia and about 10 km east of the beautiful Olympos village. Diafani village is built around a small bay. The white houses with flat
roofs lie around the sheltered bay with a nice view to the fishing boats and the port. Over the last years, Diafani is developing as a tourist village. It has small, family hotels and lovely fish taverns. Frequently tour boats arrive in Diafani. The small
beach next to the port consists of pebbles and trees for shade. It is a nice choice for swimming close to the settlement.
