Minies beach consists of three sandy beaches with few pebbles, found 7 km south of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The first beach is covered with grey sand and there is a cantine is the only thing available here for the visitors. The second beach
is much preferred by the fishermen without any tourist facilities, while the third one is much more peaceful. Right opposite is the tiny islet of Vardiani.
